The Hauptman-Woodward Institute seeks a laboratory technician to join the Institute. The successful candidate will be joining the laboratory of Dr. Aviv Paz studying medically relevant transport proteins.
We are looking for a motivated applicant who focuses on the smallest details while still keeps the big picture in mind. The technician will be performing molecular biology and biochemical experiments related to membrane protein _expression_, purification, and characterization as well as support general lab operation.
The candidate must hold a college degree in biochemistry or a related discipline by the time of appointment. Prior knowledge of biochemical and molecular biology techniques is required and basic laboratory experience would be highly advantageous.
