Staff scientist position in crystallography, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York
The MSKCC Structural Biology Core facility has an opening for a structural biologist with expertise in macromolecular X-ray crystallography
and in the administration of Linux compute environments. The facility supports structural biology labs through in-house cryo-EM microscopes and dedicated synchrotron access (APS and NYSBC), and it also provides data collection and structure determination services
to the broader MSKCC scientific community. Successful applicant will be responsible for collaborative structure determination projects (both X-ray crystallography and cryo-EM maps), with opportunities for publication and academic advancement. Successful applicant
will also be responsible for the maintenance and system administration of compute/graphics workstations and cryo-EM clusters. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or equivalent experience in X-ray crystallography with strong background in computation. To apply,
please submit your CV and Cover Letter to Dr. Nikola Pavletich (pavletin@mskcc.org).
