At the Flyak lab at Cornell University, we study human antibody response to viral pathogens. We are currently focused on discovering the main principles of effective antibody response to the highly genetically
diverse Hepatitis C virus – a leading cause of chronic liver disease and liver cancer. The candidate will use cross-disciplinary immunology and structural biology tools to dissect human antibody response to Hepatitis C virus. More information about research

About you
The candidates should have a Ph.D. degree and first author publication(s) accepted in a peer-reviewed journal(s). Desirable candidates will also have good experience with biochemistry, protein purification,
and X-ray crystallography. Prior experience with single particle cryo-EM is preferred but not required. Excellent verbal and written English language skills are required.
