Dear Colleagues,

we have a 3 year post-doc position, funded by AMBER
(https://www.ambercofund.eu/), here in Grenoble to work on correlative
imaging of Toxoplasma gondii infection. We are developing sample
preparation techniques that will allow phase contrast X-ray imaging of
whole cells on the world leading ESRF beamline ID16A and subsequent
targeting of regions of interest for FIB milling and cryoET on the same
sample. The position would suit someone with cryoET expertise who would
be interested in combining this with cutting edge X-ray imaging. EMBL
Grenoble is located on the EPN campus with fantastic facilities just
over the road (ESRF ID16A and two Titan Krios microscopes) as well as a
Glacios and soon an Aquilos FIB-SEM in house, not to mention fantastic
skiing and hiking in the Alps! The project is a close collaboration with
the EMBL Grenoble instrumentation team, the group of Ali Hakimi (IAB,
Grenoble), Peter Cloetens (ESRF beamline ID16A) and the EMBL Imaging centre.

The closing date is 08/09/2025 and full details can be found here:
