A Phd-student
position is available at the Max-Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in the Biomolecular Systems Department of Prof. Peter H. Seeberger in the Carbohydrates
Structure and Function group.

This is a position in the field of Structural
Biology of carbohydrate active enzymes. The project centers around the
structural and functional characterisation of bacterial glycosyltransferases that
target peptides. One of the aims is to identify the substrate specificity, as
well as the recognition motif for the peptide as determining factors for the observed
selectivity towards its acceptor.

You
will work in our Biolabs in Berlin Dahlem within the vibrant campus of the Free
