Dear all,
We have two really exciting PDRA positions available for crystallographers/cryo EMers to join the Endicott/Noble groups at Newcastle University.
The first is a five year senior position for a multi-skill structural biologist to apply their skills in an interdisciplinary team that is generating and prosecuting new approaches to targeting CDKs as therapeutic targets in cancer. This post will integrate closely with the CRUK Newcastle Drug Discovery Unit, distinguished by its role in developing two licensed drugs and multiple other promising projects in clinical and preclinical development.
The second is a technology build that is aimed at transforming the success rate of structural studies, especially as used in drug discovery. This project is undertaken in close collaboration with Frank Von Delft Oxford University and the Diamond Light Source, and will offer a scientist with experience in cryo EM the chance to refine their expertise, while potentially having impact across cryo EM and X-ray crystallography.
