Although it is a somewhat off-topic position in this BB, I would like to draw your attention to the open position of BL responsible of the new cryo-nano-bioimaging beamline CORUS to be built at ALBA Synchrotron Light Source in the Barcelona area, in the frame of the upgrade of the facility to a 4th generation source, ALBA-II. This 250m long beamline will have 2 have parallel X-ray microscopes (end stations) with built-in cryogenics, nanoImag (for phase contrast, holotomography, nano-cryo-fluo) and nanoSpec (cryo-nano-spectroscopy).
This position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled scientist with expertise in bioimaging techniques, scientific instrumentation, project management, and scientific leadership to play a leading role in building a cutting-edge instrument from scratch, advance their career, and make a significant impact in the field. The position is currently open, deadline is 27 May.
