the Biophysics Platform of the Structural Biology Research Centre of Human Technopole (that is… me!) is looking for a technician!

The Structural Biology Research Centre, led by Alessandro Vannini and Gaia Pigino is a newly established, thriving department of the Human Technopole (http://www.humantechnopole.it/en/), a fast growing new Life Science institute recently established in Milano.

The Centre groups (https://humantechnopole.it/en/research-centres/structural-biology/) take advantage of a fully established Cryo-EM facility (https://humantechnopole.it/en/facilities/cryo-electron-microscopy-facility/), a Platform for Biomass Production, Kitchen Service and of course the Biophysics Platform, for which help is needed.

The platform manages Mass Photometry, Microscale Thermophoresis, in-plate DLS, SEC-MALS, ITC, nanoDSF, BLI instrumentation, and is also equipped with state-of-the-art crystallisation capabilities.

We are looking for a young enthusiastic person with experience in biochemistry, biophysics and molecular biology, who will assist in instrument management and training and will develop small technological projects of interest for the whole Centre.
