*The Biochemistry, *Cellular *and *Molecular *Biology (BCMB) *Graduate *Program
at University of Texas Medical Branch invites applications to our Ph.D
program. *
*BCMB program has three tracks:*
*1) **Structural Biology and Biophysics (SBB): *SBB applies principles
of physics,
chemistry, and mathematics to cutting edge problems in biomedicine. It
offers bioinformatics, computational biology, Cryo-EM, NMR and X- ray
crystallography training.
*2) **Cell **Biology (CB): *This track offers projects, which focus on
molecular, cellular, and whole-animal systems related to human diseases,
development, and aging. It also offers training in single cell and
single molecule
imaging using state-of-the art microscopes.
*3) **Biochemistry **and Molecular Biology (BMB): *BMB track covers a
wide range
of disciplines from RNA biology, DNA repair, molecular virology, proteomics,
cancer, heart diseases and drug development.
