Hi All,

I would like to make the community aware of the following job opportunity:

Florida State University is seeking an outstanding structural biologist to join us at the Southeastern Center for Microscopy of MacroMolecular Machines (SECM4). The SECM4 is a newly established
center that will provide cryo-EM access for structural biologists in the Southeast with services including sample preparation, screening, data collection, and training. An FSU news item describing the center can be found here: https://news.fsu.edu/news/science-technology/2022/10/11/taking-pictures-on-a-molecular-level-fsu-biologists-receive-5m-nih-grant-to-build-cryo-electron-microscopy-center/

The cryo-EM specialist will support users in all aspects of cryo-EM but will focus on specimen preparation and screening so prior experience (even if limited) is attractive, but on-job training
for well trained structural biologists is available too.

Applicants with a PhD or Master’s degree in Biochemistry or related fields are encouraged to apply.

Interested candidates should apply at https://jobs.omni.fsu.edu/psc/sprdhr_er/EMPLOYEE/HRMS/c/HRS_HRAM_FL.HRS_CG_SEARCH_FL.GBL?Page=HRS_APP_JBPST_FL&Action=U&FOCUS=Applicant&SiteId=1&JobOpeningId=53257&PostingSeq=1  and
also email a brief cover letter stating your interest, a short CV and names and contact information of three referees to Scott Stagg,
sstagg@fsu.edu.
