README for cmtzman 0.0.1
========================

CMTZMAN is a program for manipulating the header data in MTZ files.

To build on Linux platforms using gcc, set up the CCP4 environment
and then execute "make" in this directory. To copy to the CCP4 bin
directory, do "make install".

For other platforms or compilers, you will need to edit the Makefile
to supply the appropriate C compiler and flags before you can build
the program.

There is documentation in the file "cmtzman.html", and an example
script "cmtzman.sh" which operates using the rnase18.mtz data in the
CCP4 suite.

A list of known bugs is included in the file cmtzman_bugs.txt, with
information on how to reproduce them and an indication of whether
they have been fixed. A list of features still to be implemented is
included in the file cmtzman_todo.txt.

Thanks for trying CMTZMAN. Please report problems or suggestions to
p.j.briggs@dl.ac.uk.
