CRYOEM@NOVA:
STRUCTURAL BIOLOGY AND DRUG DISCOVERY LAB, headed by ERA Chair holder Prof. Hartmut Luecke.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to lead our efforts in establishing a cutting-edge biological cryo-EM laboratory.
As the Principal Investigator and Leader of the Research Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting pioneering research in Structural Biology, focusing on high-resolution cryo-EM structures for drug discovery.
- Setting up and managing the entire cryo-EM pipeline, from sample preparation to computational analysis.
- Participating in the development and implementation of research programs, translating them into projects for external funding.
- Leading research and development projects and services in the cryo-EM field.
- Providing training in cryo-EM methodology and supervising graduate and postgraduate students.
- Establishing international collaborations and contributing to science dissemination and public engagement activities.

The contract offers a negotiable gross annual salary of up to €77,000, subject to increment
