Dear all,
There was an error in the previous link, sorry about that!
I’m looking for a highly motivated postdoc who will work on structural and mechanistic aspects of how rRNA methyltransferases contribute to ribosome biogenesis and antibiotic resistance. This will involve a combination of structural and biophysical techniques, with a focus on single-particle cryo-EM.
The successful candidate should have a PhD in structural biology, biochemistry or biophysics (or a related area) and experience of purification and functional or structural characterization of ribosomes and/or RNA, and experience in or interest to learn single-particle cryo-EM.
The position is a 2-year postdoc employment with possibility of extension, funded by the Swedish Research Council.
Further details and link to application system are found here: https://www.uu.se/en/about-uu/join-us/details/?positionId=584582
Application deadline February 16.
Best regards
Maria
