A postdoctoral fellow
position is open in Prof. Oriana Fisher’s laboratory (https://sites.google.com/a/lehigh.edu/fisher-lab/home) in the Department of Chemistry at Lehigh University in
Bethlehem, PA (centrally located between NYC and Philadelphia). The candidate’s research will focus on investigating the structural
and biophysical basis for copper acquisition and its regulation by bacteria.
Applicants should have (or expect to soon have) a PhD in Biochemistry,
Structural Biology, Microbiology, or a related discipline. Experience in
protein expression and purification, X-ray crystallography, biochemistry,
and/or microbiology is desired, as are strong written and oral communication
skills. The individual will also be expected to work closely with and mentor
graduate and undergraduate students. Prospective candidates should send a current
