Dear Colleagues,
I´d appreciate if you can disseminate these openings in my lab:
A Postdoctoral Research Associate and Ph.D positions are available in the Montoya Group at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research (CPR)
in the University of Copenhagen. These positions provide a unique long-term opportunity to work on an exciting project in a well-equipped and supportive environment in the Protein Structure & Function programme at CPR (see link below).
https://www.cpr.ku.dk/research/protein-structure-function-program/
In this framework, the research associate will be involved in a project addressing in situ structure-function
studies of multi subunit complexes in eukaryotic cells. The project will merge single particle cryo-EM
with cryo-electron tomography and single-molecule approaches. We are looking for a candidate with strong background
in cryo-EM. The selected candidate will work together with other researchers on various aspects of a larger biological question involving functional cellular experiments. The
Ph.D student will be associated to one of our ongoing projects in genome editing tools. The successful candidate will carry out structural and biochemical characterization of multiprotein complexes using
single-molecule approaches. The Ph.D student will be also involved in collaborative projects combining in-situ cryo-EM approaches with functional experiments.
More information about CPR, candidate requirements, projects and application details can be found in the links below:
