Dear all,
on behalf of the Department of Structural Biology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital I am writing to alert you to our institution’s recently announced efforts to recruit a director, as well as a senior scientific manager, to our center for cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM).
The Center is currently equipped with a 300keV Titan Krios transmission electron microscope, a 200keV Talos Arctica transmission electron microscope, each equipped with a K3 direct electron detector and a BioQuantum energy filter. The Center also houses a 120 keV Talos L120C transmission electron microscope for sample screening and optimization as well as state-of-the-art computational resources including dedicated GPU workstations and a GPU cluster. In the near-term, our strategic plan is to expand the physical, technological and service infrastructures of the center to include cryo-ET and correlative light and electron microscopy of cells.
