Dear All, 
The University of Edinburgh is looking for a cryo-EM facility manager to maintain and run our cryo-transmission electron microscopy facility (http://cryo-em.bio.ed.ac.uk/). This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant institute with an excellent environment for structural and cell biology. The post holder will train and assist users on the recently upgraded 200kV F20 equipped with a K2 and Rio cameras. They will also take care of instrument maintenance and help with sample characterisation and analysis.

There is likely to be opportunities for independent project work or/and methods development. This is an ideal position for someone moving into facility management and there is scope for advancement within Edinburgh in the future. The post is initially for 2 ½ years with the possibility of an extension.
