"baubles" is an experimental Python program that reformats log files from CCP4 programs into a standard HTML form.
Here are some examples of logfiles that have been processed and re-rendered into HTML using the latest version of baubles:
Baubles is built on top of the smartie CCP4 logfile processor module, which identifies different parts of logfiles and allows information about warning messages to be extracted. It also makes use of an updated version of the JLogGraph java applet for viewing graphs and tables in-line.
Baubles was originally written by Peter Briggs, with substantial improvements from Kevin Cowtan. It is still very much under development and feedback from users and developers is very much welcome.
There is now also a guide on how to mark up program output for baubles.
