[BIOXHIT] International Course on Protein Crystallograhpy

Dear colleagues,

Please be informed about the upcoming course on protein crystallography 
at the BIOXHIT TID Centre in Oulu, Finland.

An international protein crystallography BIOXHIT course will be held 
from May 7 to 11, 2007, at the Department of Biochemistry, University of 
Oulu, Finland. The course is part of the activities of the training, 
implementation and dissemination (TID) centre of the EU "BIOXHIT" 
project. The first part of the course will be focused on protein crystal 
data collection strategies (IspyB/DNA/BEST/MOSFLM/SCALA); the 
international lecturers are Andrew Leslie (Cambridge), Sasha Popov (EMBL 
Hamburg) and Olof Svensson (ESRF Grenoble). The second part will concern 
the refinement packages SHARP and BUSTER as developed by Global Phasing 
Ltd. (Cambridge, UK) and the lecturers are Gerard Bricogne, Clemens 
Vonrhein and Claus Flensburg. The workshop will be arranged jointly by 
BIOXHIT and the Biocenter Oulu.

Funds are available for reimbursing travel costs. Registration procedure
