Minor fix from Clemens Vonrhein: array indices were in wrong order.

Removed subroutines MATMLI and GMPRD (now in modlib).

Added error trap to prevent taking sqrt of -ve number in subroutine DCOSFD.

No source change; should have included comments from PB on last version:

The pgm fails to calculate the rms value -
prints zero.  Find that code tries to calculate a weighted
mean and rms - but code is broken and the value of RRMS which
is being recalculated is used within the loop for each section to find
peaks - ie the logic is nonsense. Ideally one should calculate the weighted
mean and rms values in the earlier loop. As a quick fix I now calculate and
print the weighted mean and rms values but neither use these values for
finding peaks nor write them to the map. Note that maps store the rms variation
from the mean value, while the program prints the rms level.
Some tidying of code - remove some unused variables and subroutines.
Now compiles with optimization - but why?
